Shahi Zinda Complex in Samarkand …

😲 Shahi Zinda Complex is the most beautiful place in Samarkand!

The complex is located on the northern outskirts of

Samarkand and it consists of a swirl of elegant nightingales glittering in blue colors.

👀 Literally, “Shahi Zinda” translates as “The Living King.”

There are several legends: according to the first legend, when the Arabs attacked the city, a citizen fired an arrow at Qusam ibn-Abbas, the cousin of Prophet Muhammad, who commanded the conquerors.

According to the second legend, his head was cut off. He grabbed it and hide in the well where it is now.

According to the third version, he was taken to heaven alive. The oldest building is the Mausoleum of Kusam ibn-Abbas.

👣 To get to the place, you need to climb the stairs. If you start counting them, then the number of degrees rarely matches day to day! How can this be?

If you are without a guide, you can just go and admire the craftsmanship of ancient masters, feel like you are in an Eastern fairy tale.

We advise you to take a guide with you, who will help deal with the cunningness of Eastern patterns, decipher inscriptions, tell and show the difference

between mayolica, ceramics, mosaic, terracotta.

🔥Shahi Zinda is a wonder of miracles, it shocks with its beauty and majestic appearance. In our opinion, Shahi Zinda is more impressive than Registan and the Tomb of Tamerlan, which we will tell you in the following posts.
