Detailed program of tour
Day 1: TASHKENT – KHUJAND
Breakfast at the hotel. 09:00 Meet the driver at the lobby. Transfer to Tajik border. The road runs over mountains and high passes. Your Tajik guide will meet you at the other side. You will visit Khujand which is the second largest city of Tajikistan. You will visit in the afternoon a Cultural Palace of Khujant. You will visit Republican Historical-Ethnographic Museum, Timur-Malik Fortress, Archaeological Museum, Mosque and Madrasah of Shaikh Muslihiddin, Payshanba Bazaar. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: KHUJAND - PENJAKENT - SAMARKAND
Breakfast at the hotel. 09:00 Meet the guide and the driver at the lobby. we will drive to Penjakent via pass Shahriston (3 378 m). The ruins of this ancient city were found only in the last century. Today the tourists can see the remains of dwelling houses and office buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshipers church. Transfer to Uzbek border. Your driver will meet you. Arrival to to Samarkand. Overnight at the hotel.
