❗️For many pilgrims, Abu Bakr is the greatest Tashkent citizen.

He’s one of the first Islamic preachers in the city, a scientist, poet and craftsman. Better known as Hazrati Imam, which means “Holy Imam”. They say he spoke 72 languages and translated the Old Testament (Torah) into Arabic.

He himself lived in the X century, and in the XVI his grave appeared a whole complex of buildings (2 mosques, 2 madrassas, a cathedral mosque and a mausoleum) named after him.

😱 Now it’s the main religious center of the city. The Muyi-Mubarak madrassah houses the Quran of Khalifa Osman (Usman), the most valuable book, it is the only one of the original manuscript of the Quran preserved.

👣 The Quran of Khalifa Osman (Usman) – an ancient manuscript (presumably the VIl-Vll centuries) visited

many people – first it was stored in El-Kufa (Iraq), after which it moved with Tamerlan to Samarkand, then a Russian capture took place and went to a library in St. Petersburg, and after the revolution it arrived in Tashkent.

(This is a large (format) foliant on 353 pages, 284 of which are parchment (recycled deer skin), some of them retained traces of Khalif Usman’s blood. How do you like it? Would you like to watch the Hazrati lmam complex in Tashkent live? Write your opinion in the comments below👇
