Detailed program of tour
Day 1: ARRIVAL BISHKEK
Wellcome to Kyrgizistan! A driver holding your name on a pape will pick up all travelers from the International airport in Bishkek and transfer to the hotel. Free day.
Day 2: BISHKEK
Breakfast at the hotel. 09:00 Meet the guide and driver at the lobby. Full day excursion program in Bishkek. You will visit Oak Park, Ala-Too Square, Statue of Manas, National Museum of Fine Arts, Philharmonic Hall and Ala Archa gorge. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: BISHKEK - CHONG-KEMIN
Breakfast. 09:00 Meet your guide and driver. You will go Chong-Kemin Gorge. Along the route, visit one of Kyrgyzstan's oldest landmarks, the Burana Tower, and learn about its antique architecture, which is unusual in nomadic culture. The tower's location was previously known as Balasagyn town. This settlement was strategically important for the Great Silk Road. A modest museum with items discovered during previous digs provides more information about this ancient settlement, including a collection of "Balbals" - Turkic grave markers. Next, drive to Chon-Kemin village. Take in the breathtaking views while visiting the village and enjoying a home-cooked traditional meal. Tonight, stay at a charming guesthouse managed by local families.
Day 4: CHONG-KEMIN - BOKONBAEVO – TAMGA
Breakfast. 09:00 Meet your guide and driver. Today you will be transferred to the celestial Issyk Kul Lake, the second largest alpine lake in the world. Thelake is called "the pearl of Central Asia". For more than 1 500 years local people considered the lake to be a sacred one. You can come up to the lake and to see mountains all around it. In Bokonbaeva village we will visit a local eagle-hunter. He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles (traditional way of nomads hunting). Then we transfer to Tamga village. Overnight at the guesthouse.
Day 5: TAMGA – BARSKOON – JETI OGUZ
You will travel to the Barskoon Gorge, where the famous Barskoon Waterfalls are located. this place is striking in its beauty and power of natural phenomena, and tourists will be able to enjoy the majestic views of the waterfalls and the surrounding nature. Transfer to Jetu - Oguz along the Southern Shore of Issyk-Kul lake. You will visit to Jety-Oguz gorge. Your guide will tell you a legend about Jety-Oguz (seven bulls) and Broken Heart rock. Overnight in yurts.
Day 6: JETU-OGUZ - KARAKOL
Breakfast. 09:00 Meet your guide and driver. Transfer to Karakol. Karakol city tour includes visits to the Prjevalsky Museum, the Wooden Orthodox Church, and the Chinese-style Dungan Mosque. Kyrgyzstan is a multiethnic country, and this tour will allow you to become acquainted with other nations and traditions. Today, you will eat dinner with the Uigur or Dungan families while listening to Kyrgyz national music and singing. These nationalities arrived in Kyrgyzstan from China and have lived in Karakol since 1869. Overnight in the guest house.
Day 7: KARAKOL – ALTIN ARASHAN – KARAKOL
After a strengthening breakfast you will be transferred to the Altin Arashan Gorge by Russian military vehicle. Altin Arashan (“Golden Spa”) gorge is one of the most famous gorges in Karakol because of the Tian-Shan fir trees that grow everywhere there. You will have a picnic in the incredibly beautiful gorge. Afterwards you will have 1 hour for hiking in the gorge and then you will be transferred back to the town. Night is at the hotel.
Day 8: KARAKOL - BISHKEK
Breakfast. 09:00 Meet your guide and driver. we start long journey back to Bishkek. Arrival to Bishkek. we transfer Manas International Airport.
